Intérieur métaphysique

Intérieur métaphysique is a screenprinted poster on paper presenting a composition by Giorgio de Chirico. The photographed labels on the reverse state “Affiche”, “silkscreen process” and “Sérigraphie”. One label, bearing the name Galerie Eric Franck, gives the year 1969 and dimensions of 100 × 63 cm. Visible references are G 0105 / WM0490 and G:104. The architecture and objects gathered in this interior form a space of silence and mystery, characteristic of the metaphysical world associated with de Chirico. Contrasting volumes, perspectives and familiar objects invite close looking. The signature visible in the image does not establish a handwritten signature on this copy. No certificate or catalogue raisonné reference specific to this print is published here. Photographs of the labels are linked in “Details and documentation”.
