Armand Piot

No authoritative source was found that identifies a painter named Armand Piot or reasonably connects that name to the offered work. The consulted listing describes a painting signed and dated “A. Piot.

95.”, with the reverse inscription “Venoge (près de St-Sulpice) Lac Léman”; these elements do not establish the name Armand Piot. Other historical artists named Piot are documented, including the French painter and decorator René Piot (1866–1934), who cannot be the author of a work dated 1995. The attribution should therefore remain unverified.

The works by Armand Piot presented by Swiss Art Gallery extend this artistic journey and take their place naturally within this corpus.
