Florencio Molina Campos (1891–1959) was an Argentine artist known for his often humorous depictions of the Pampa and gaucho life. His first exhibition of paintings took place at the Sociedad Rural Argentina in 1926. In 1930, the Alpargatas company commissioned twelve gouache illustrations for its 1931 calendar. The publication’s success led to a sustained collaboration that brought his rural scenes to a wide audience. In 1942, he exhibited at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, before the exhibition travelled through the United States. In 1946, he published Vida Gaucha for American students of Spanish, and in 1956 exhibited at the Witcomb gallery in Buenos Aires. He also appeared in the short film Pampa Mansa.
