Settling in Milan in 1963 to study art, Keizo Morishita attended Marino Marini’s classes at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera on a scholarship, graduating in 1968. Although he specialised in sculpture, his work stands out in the field of painting. The biography places the beginning of his career in 1967, with an exhibition at Galleria La Chiocciola in Padua.
His exhibition history includes a presentation at Studio Marconi in Milan in 1970, listed as “with Marcel Duchamp”, followed by an exhibition at Galerie Marie-Louise Jeanneret in Geneva in 1977. In 1984, two venues in Lugano appear on the list: Studio Malpensata and Galleria Passardi. The list also records a presentation at Asia Art Gallery in Taipei in 1987, followed, in 1993, by exhibitions at Tenju-en Museum in Niigata, Hambara-Hanga Museum in Mizunami and Hara Museum Arc in Shibukawa.
