Yves Riat
Born in 1948.
Yves Riat is identified in the sources as the creator of a signed lithograph reproduced on the poster for the « Spectacle‑hommage à La Castou » (visible credit: « © Lithographie Yves Riat »). This lithograph was used in the event’s promotional materials, which include an announcement for a performance dated « samedi 6 juin » — the source does not specify the year of this announcement.
A document connected with a 2002 exhibition indicates that Romain Crelier exhibited « chez Yves Riat (Courant d’Art, Chevenez, 2002) », attesting to the existence that year of an exhibition venue named Courant d'Art, associated with Yves Riat in Chevenez.
The available evidence documents two concrete aspects of the activity associated with the name Yves Riat: a graphic practice attested by a signed lithograph used to promote a performance, and involvement in a space identified as Courant d'Art in Chevenez in 2002. For the preparation of a more extensive notice, the points indicated in the alerts above should be supplemented by sources specifying the dates, the editorial context of the lithograph, and the precise nature of the activities conducted under the name Courant d'Art.
