Violette Goehring
Born in 1900.
Died in 1984.
Violette Goehring was an artist whose work encompassed painting and sculpture. Although her artistic career is poorly documented, it bears witness to a creative duality that invites reflection on forms and colours. Goehring established herself within the artistic landscape of her time, but details of her career and achievements remain partly obscure.
Her artistic legacy, both pictorial and sculptural, deserves to be rediscovered and appreciated in the context of the development of art in the twentieth century.
