Vera Haller
Born in 1910.
Died in 1991.
Vera Haller was an artist whose career bears witness to a notable evolution. Initially a dancer, she turned to painting after 1944, during which period she pursued artistic training at the Wabel Academy in Zurich. In 1951, she further developed her skills at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris.
Her oeuvre, although less well known, reflects a fascinating transition between dance and the visual arts, thus illustrating a quest for personal expression through different media.
