Ursula Deggeler
Born in 1795.
Died in 1867.
Ursula Deggeler was an artist whose principal activity centred on painting, particularly miniature portraiture. She practised her art in Zurich and Munich, two cities where she was able to develop her style and technique. Married to Wilhelm Scheuchzer, her artistic career remains only partially documented, leaving questions about the extent of her oeuvre and its impact on the artistic milieu of her time.
