Home Swiss artists Turo Pedretti Swiss Art Gallery · St-Prex Turo Pedretti ◇ Born in 1896.
◇ Died in 1964.
Turo Pedretti (1896–1964) is presented as an artist whose work encompasses landscapes, portraits and still lifes.
His artistic approach is expressed through several techniques, including mural painting, mosaic, watercolour and drawing. The coexistence of these methods attests to a versatile practice spanning a range of formats and supports.
The notice also indicates his family lineage: he is the father of Giuliano and Gian Pedretti.
The proposed summary brings together the biographical and technical information attested in the consulted record — identity, dates, genres and techniques — without details of named works or an institutional career.
