Thomas Julier
Born in 1964.
Thomas Julier is an artist born in 1983 in Brig, who lives and works in Zurich and Brig.
He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Photography in 2009 and a Master of Fine Arts in 2013 from Zurich University of the Arts.
His work focuses primarily on photography, film, objects, software and language.
In his Cahier d’Artiste entitled "Just a Few Drops Down the Hatch", Julier presents photographs taken between 2014 and 2023.
The images include building façades, landscapes, shop windows, notice boards and statues, capturing significant moments in a range of contexts.
Thematic slogans from T-shirts printed by Julier are also incorporated into the Cahier, adding a further dimension to his reflection on language and visual forms.
