Thomann Aeberhard

A painter whose activity is documented within Zurich’s artistic community, Thomann Aeberhard is recorded between 1537 and 1559. He was probably a pupil and collaborator of Hans Asper. Before Christmas 1537, he obtained guild rights at Zur Meise and was also a member of the brotherhoods of Lux and Loyen.
The last documentary reference to him dates to 1559.
