Stephan Link was an artist and conservator whose work focused primarily on landscape painting. Although his artistic activity is poorly documented, it bears witness to a commitment to representing nature through his medium. Details concerning his training or influences remain uncertain, but his role as a conservator suggests an in-depth knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
The duality of his practice, between creation and conservation, underscores a thoughtful approach to art and its heritage.
