Rudolf Hegar
Born in 1905.
Died in 1977.
Rudolf Hegar was an artist whose work focused on landscape painting and watercolour. Initially trained as an architect, he continued his studies in Paris and Munich. From 1933 onwards, he settled in Morcote, where he probably drew inspiration from the surrounding natural setting.
His artistic trajectory bears witness to an interesting transition between architecture and the visual arts, although the details of his stylistic development remain uncertain.
