Rolf Puschmann worked as a graphic artist and drawing teacher. His career extended from 1874 to 1891 in Zurich, where he probably contributed to the local art scene. He subsequently settled in Solothurn, but the details of his activity in that city remain uncertain.
Although Puschmann’s work is less well known, it bears witness to a period of transition in graphic art in Switzerland.
