Richard Kohli
Born in 1920.
Died in 1974.
Richard Kohli was an artist and mathematics teacher. His work is characterised by depictions of figurative scenes and landscapes, as well as by woodcuts. The elements of his practice bear witness to an exploration of forms and spaces, combining academic rigour with artistic sensitivity.
Although little detailed information is available about his career, his commitment to teaching and artistic creation points to an intriguing duality between the logic of mathematics and visual expression.
