Renggli Glasmalerfamilie
Born in 1850.
Died in 1999.
The Renggli family, active as stained-glass artists in Lucerne, practised their art from the mid-nineteenth century through the twentieth century. Specialising in the creation of stained-glass windows and glass panels, they gained international recognition. It should be noted that there is no family relationship with another family of artists bearing the same name.
The contributions of this lineage of artisans to the heritage of glass art merit further exploration, although the precise details of their work remain partly uncertain.
