Pierre Crolet

Pierre Crolet was a painter whose activity is documented mainly in the first half of the seventeenth century. In 1631, he produced a notable work, the Descente de Croix, intended for the church of Vyt-lez-Belvoir. From 1640 onward, he practised his art in Fribourg, where he appears to have left his mark.
His album of flags, dated between 1646 and 1648, bears witness to his artistic commitment during these years.
