Pierre Aubert was a multifaceted artist recognised as an engraver, painter, illustrator and sculptor. His commitment to the artistic milieu was reflected in his role as a founding member of the French-speaking Swiss printmakers’ group Tailles et Morsures, which contributed to the promotion of printmaking in Switzerland. Although varied, his œuvre bears witness to a continual search for artistic expression across different media.
