Pia Fries

From 1977 to 1980, she studies at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Lucerne and attends Anton Egloff’s sculpture classes.

She then continues her studies for six years at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, where she is a student of Gerhard Richter and becomes a Meisterschülerin.

Her first solo exhibition takes place in Munich in 1988.

She also teaches painting in Lucerne and subsequently in Düsseldorf.
