Philippe Brun
Born in 1850.
Died in 1930.
Philippe Brun was a French painter and draughtsman whose work focused primarily on landscapes. After settling in Geneva, he devoted his art to depicting various natural sites, notably Lake Geneva, as well as views of Lac de Cristol, the banks of the Allan and the Rhône. His work bears witness to a particular sensitivity to the surrounding landscapes, especially the Bois de la Bâtie, thereby capturing the beauty of the places he frequented.
