Peter von Grissach is an artist recognised for his work as a stained-glass painter. His presence in Lucerne is documented between 1551 and 1556. He subsequently worked in Murten in 1565 and 1566, before being admitted as a Hintersäss in the city of Fribourg in 1567.
He was also the father of Heinrich von Grissach, underscoring the family’s artistic heritage.
