Peter Andermatt worked as a graphic designer, painter and illustrator. His work is characterised by depictions of landscapes, animals and female figures. From 1989 onwards, he held a professorship and directed the Institute for Communication Design at the Fachhochschule in Constance.
He was also a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale, attesting to his commitment to the field of graphic design.
