Otto Ernst was an artist whose career extended across several disciplines, notably painting and printmaking. His œuvre encompasses drawings, lithographs, woodcuts, as well as illustrations and posters. He explored various genres, including landscapes, still lifes and portraits.
Between 1902 and 1950, he worked for the firm August Trüb & Cie in Aarau, thereby contributing to the local art scene of his time.
