Oswald Müller was a painter active in Zug. His work is documented by a contract from 1555 for the decoration of the ceiling of St. Oswald’s Church. In 1557, he also carried out the painting of the Zytturm, an emblematic monument of the city.
Although his career was brief, his influence on the local artistic landscape merits note. The details of his life and work nevertheless remain partly obscure, leaving questions about his career and style.
