Olga Fischli-Hofer
Born in 1907.
Olga Fischli-Hofer was an artist whose practice encompassed sculpture and painting. She also distinguished herself in the fields of mosaic, wood relief and textile art. From 1950 onwards, she developed a distinctive technique consisting of creating works from stones, incorporating mosaics made of unworked pebbles, all amalgamated in various cement mixtures.
Her approach bears witness to a singular aesthetic inquiry, although details of her career remain partly obscure.
