Niklaus Wirt was a glass artist from Weil der Stadt in Baden-Württemberg. His work focused primarily on the creation of figurenscheiben, figurative stained-glass panels intended for the abbeys of St Gall. He also worked for various monasteries in Swabia.
In addition, he produced stained glass for the city of Winterthur, as well as for local guilds.
