Nell Walden was a Swedish artist of many talents, working in painting, music and writing. In 1913, she married Herwarth Walden, bringing her into a circle of influential artists. Her artistic career was shaped by relationships with significant figures in the art world, as well as by her activity as a collector.
From 1933 onwards, she settled in Switzerland, where she continued to contribute to the art scene. Details of her career and works remain partly obscure, leaving room for interpretation and further research.
