Miriam Cahn

According to the sources, she lives and works in Stampa (Switzerland). A monograph devoted to drawing, Zeichnen/drawing/dessiner, was published by Modo in 2014. Her career has been recognised with several awards, including the Meret-Oppenheim Prize (2005) and the Rubenspreis of the City of Siegen (2022).

In 2023, the Palais de Tokyo (Paris) presented Ma pensée sérielle, a retrospective held from 17 February to 14 May 2023. The exhibition was described as her first major retrospective at a French institution. The elements brought together — the monograph on drawing, the awards and the 2023 retrospective — constitute documented milestones in her career and provide a basis for a gallery notice without claiming to be exhaustive with regard to her exhibitions or body of work.
