The Meister von Muttenz, active at the turn of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, is a group of several artists whose precise identity remains uncertain. The frescoes they executed in the parish church and ossuary of Muttenz are dated 1513 and 1517. It is possible that one of the masters is identical with Michel Glaser the Younger, although this hypothesis has not been confirmed.
The period of their activity falls between 1513 and 1517, coinciding with the beginnings of the Renaissance in Switzerland.
