Max Hegetschweiler was an artist whose career encompassed several disciplines, notably painting, graphic design and drawing. His oeuvre includes collages, illustrations and wall frescoes. Until 1940, he resided primarily in France, a period during which he presumably developed his style and techniques.
Details concerning his influences and the evolution of his work, however, remain only partially documented.
