Mario Chiattone distinguished himself as an architect and painter. His work includes murals as well as landscapes, figures and still lifes. From 1919 onwards, he worked in Lugano.
Chiattone is also associated with the Milanese Futurist movement, attesting to his engagement with the artistic currents of his time. He was the son of Gabriele Chiattone and the brother of Antonio Chiattone II, underscoring his family heritage in the arts.
