Luigi Hirschbühl

Born in 1883.

Died in 1950.

Luigi Hirschbühl was a painter whose activity was primarily associated with the production of copies of Old Masters, particularly in the galleries of Rome and Munich. In 1910, he joined the Pontifical Swiss Guard in Rome, which seems to have marked a turning point in his career, leading him to abandon his artistic practice. Details concerning his work and style remain uncertain, leaving only a discreet trace in the artistic landscape of his time.
