Ludwig Schnüriger was a Catholic theologian, painter and stained-glass artist. His work is characterised by figurative woodcuts and linocuts, as well as devotional images. Schnüriger also produced various wall and ceiling paintings, primarily in Liechtenstein, the canton of Graubünden and Central Switzerland.
His artistic approach reflects a search for harmony between spirituality and visual aesthetics.
