Ludwig Ringler

Ludwig Ringler is recognised for his work as a glass painter and draughtsman. In 1579, he was elected to the municipal council in Basel, testifying to his civic engagement. From 1582 to 1584, he also held the office of Landvogt in Lugano, underscoring his influence in local affairs.
The details of his artistic œuvre, however, remain poorly documented, leaving a degree of uncertainty as to the extent of his creative legacy.
