Ludwig Bauer
Born in 1950.
Died in 2023.
Ludwig Bauer made his mark on the art world as a painter, draughtsman and graphic artist. His work is distinguished by the use of mixed media, notably incorporating wooden reliefs, which attests to an innovative and multidimensional approach. Bauer’s creations reflect a particular sensitivity to material and form, inviting reflection on the interactions between the different media.
Although his artistic career was a rich one, it still leaves room for questions concerning his oeuvre as a whole and its impact on the contemporary art landscape.
