The archives relating to Léon Prêtre indicate that he maintained regular exchanges with the Jura painters Willi Nicolet and Louis Poupon, a reference that underscores the existence of a shared professional or personal network.
The name Louis Poupon also appears in an inventory of documents assembled for the biography of Guy Lamy, under the heading « divers documents », indicating the presence of documentary traces concerning him within holdings connected to other artists.
