Leontius Bucher was an artist whose activity as a stained-glass artist is documented between 1679 and 1711. He was the son of David Bucher, also a stained-glass artist, and Barbara Düfel. Leontius Bucher belonged to a lineage of artists: he was the brother of Hans Jakob Bucher and the father of Hans Peter Bucher, both of whom pursued the same profession.
