Leo Steck

Born in 1883.

Died in 1960.

Leo Steck was a multifaceted artist recognised as a painter, stained-glass artist and writer. Alongside his artistic career, he also distinguished himself as a zoologist and teacher at the School of Applied Arts in Bern. His spiritual journey is reflected in his conversion to Catholicism, which influenced his work and his interest in the world of religious imagery.

The details of his life and work merit further exploration, as their richness seems promising.
