Lélo Fiaux

Born in 1909.

Died in 1964.

Lélo Fiaux was an artist whose career was distinguished by her practice of painting and watercolour. A great traveller, she drew her inspiration from a Romanticism that seems to have stood apart from the artistic currents of her time. Her work, marked by a particular sensitivity, bears witness to a personal exploration of landscapes and emotions, while remaining on the margins of contemporary trends.
