Jürg Spiller
Born in 1913.
Died in 1974.
Jürg Spiller was both a painter and a writer. He worked as an educator in the fields of painting and art history. From 1940 onwards, he took an interest in Paul Klee’s pedagogical legacy, which marked a significant stage in his artistic development.
In 1956, he published “Das bildnerische Denken”, a work that bears witness to his reflections on the creative process. His commitment to art education and his exploration of Klee’s ideas contributed to enriching the dialogue around art and its transmission.
