Jost Muheim was an artist whose oeuvre focused on landscape painting and genre scenes. He received his first artistic instruction from his father, Jost Anton Muheim the Younger. He subsequently continued his training with Johann Wilhelm Schirmer in Karlsruhe and with Benjamin Vautier in Düsseldorf.
