Jost Hermann

Jost Hermann is recognised as a glassmaker and stained-glass painter. His activity is documented chiefly in the Fribourg region around the middle of the seventeenth century. He practised his art by creating several works for the Altenryf (Hauterive) monastery and for localities in Valais.
Hermann is regarded as one of the leading glass artists of his time in the region.
