Johann Rudolf Schellenberg

Born in 1740.

Died in 1806.

Johann Rudolf Schellenberg was a multifaceted artist who worked as a painter, copper engraver, illustrator, scientific draughtsman and poet. He is particularly recognised for his contributions to Johann Caspar Lavater’s “Fragments physiognomiques”, as well as for publications related to entomology.
