Johann Caspar Koller
Born in 1808.
Died in 1887.
Johann Caspar Koller was an artist whose principal activity lay in the field of landscape painting. He is also known for his copies of works by Ludwig Hess. Koller produced a variety of works, including the creation of lighting fixtures and lampshades, as well as coloured views.
His landscape watercolours testify to his interest in nature. It should be noted that he was the uncle of Rudolf Koller, which may have influenced his artistic career. Details concerning his oeuvre remain partly uncertain.
