Jean-Jacques Miroglio
Born in 1727.
Died in 1776.
Jean-Jacques Miroglio distinguished himself as an enamel painter and miniaturist. His notable work includes a plan of the city of Geneva executed in enamel in 1772. In 1776, he presented in Paris a plan of the city as well as a representation of the Palace of Versailles, likewise painted on enamel.
These works attest to his skill in capturing architectural details on delicate supports, although the exact circumstances of his artistic career remain partly obscure.
