Jakob Meyer was a decorative painter from Lucerne. His artistic activity is documented in the choir of St. Jost’s Church in Blatten in 1634, as well as at Lucerne’s Hofkirche in 1637. Details of his career remain limited, and it is difficult to determine the extent of his oeuvre.
His work at these places of worship nevertheless attests to his involvement in the artistic landscape of his time.
