Henry-John Terry
Born in 1818.

Henry-John Terry was an English watercolourist and lithographer. He was a pupil of Alexandre Calame, whose major works he reproduced in lithographs. Terry worked in Switzerland from 1825 onwards, a period during which he probably developed his style and artistic skills.
His work bears witness to the notable influence of his teacher, while also incorporating elements specific to his experience in the Swiss environment.
