Henriette Rath was a recognised Genevan artist known for her work as a miniaturist and painter. She was also the founder of the Musée Rath, established in 1826, which bears witness to her commitment to culture and the arts in Geneva. Although her artistic career is documented, certain uncertainties remain as to the extent of her oeuvre and her influence within the artistic milieu of her time.
