Henri-François Brandt distinguished himself as a medallist and sculptor. In 1813, he was awarded the Prix de Rome for his excellence in medal engraving. He served as First Medallist at the Royal Mint in Berlin, where he was also Court Medallist.
His recognition extended to his membership of the Berlin Academy of Arts, attesting to his influence in the artistic field of his time.
