Heinrich Wüscher

Born in 1855.

Died in 1932.

Heinrich Wüscher was an artist whose principal activity was painting. He also worked as an archaeologist, having pursued studies in Munich, Florence and Paris. Wüscher is chiefly recognised for his work as a copyist, which attests to his commitment to classical art and his meticulous study of earlier works.

He was the son of Johann Jakob Wüscher, which may have influenced his artistic path. Details of his career and artistic legacy remain partly obscure, leaving questions about his impact on the art world of his time.
